Cory is a passionate entrepreneurial community builder who manages the Core Community at Underscore VC, an Boston-based early-stage venture capital firm. As Community Manager, Cory works closely with the firm’s portfolio and engages a community of experienced entrepreneurs and operators, organized by skill, stage and domain, to grow their business. Prior to Underscore, Cory was Director of Global Operations at MassChallenge, where he helped build and scale the startup accelerator's community and operational infrastructure to support hundreds of startups. In 2012, Cory co-founded MassChallenge Israel and more recently led the MassChallenge Mexico launch. Formerly, Cory was the Director of Startup Massachusetts, part of the Obama Administration’s Startup America Partnership. Within Startup Massachusetts, Cory launched Startup Summer, to provided the region’s college students with startup internship opportunities.
